IT’S TIME TO REFLECT

“Organic surfaces mixed with light reflecting textures.”

AS THE WORLD BECOMES INCREASINGLY COMPLEX,
DIESEL BLACK AND GOLD PROPOSES
LIGHT AND REASON

FASHION BECOMES UTILITARIAN AND OPTIMISTIC.
INSTEAD OF LOOKING INWARD, IT SETS OUT TO EXPLORE.

SILHOUETTES ARE AMPLE, OFFERING FREEDOM TO MOVE,
HI- TECH, INDUSTRIAL DETAILS AND METAL HARDWARE OFFER PROTECTION.
LIGHT-REFLECTING SHARDS OF MIRROR PROVIDE ILLUMINATION.
GIVEN A TOUCH OF URBAN POETRY WITH A SHEEN OF METALLIC COLOURS.

Gold lamey and cellophane dominate the peeking preppy collars and cuffs
of steamed button down shirts. Reminiscent of the stanky mesh jerseys
that I was forced to wear for physical education, metallic gold and silver are luxuriously appealing. If I wore it, I would be picked first round.
The shorts and tops are icy, gruff, collapsible, as if composed of recycled crushed aluminum. We know how Americans like to recycle.
On a masculine note, an astronomical nod to John Glenn with silver
shiny motorcycle jackets, acknowledging the recent retirement
of the space shuttle.

Layering punctured and perforated metals over pinstripes ground us
and maximize aerodynamics while simultaneously reinvigorating a preppy pronouncement. Although we will surely need a helmet for landing,
the ironing board remains contemporary.
