THE PLAYBOY ADVISOR
SEPT 1975
On a business trip to New York, a friend and I spent an amusing half hour reading ads in the underground papers for so-called relaxation spas.
The copy appealed directly, if ambiguously, to the libido.
“What hasn’t your woman done for you lately?”
Another ad offered magnificent handmaidens in assorted color combinations – gorgeous blonds, ravishing redheads and exquisite brunettes.
Apparently the basic form of pleasure at these places is something called the local. I am familiar with most sexual slang, but that one escapes me. Is it was I think it is? – N.B. Scarsdale, New York
Modeled by Honey Bunny (aka one member of the design team), the first
look is a nude silk Strass corset embellished with large, opulent cuts
of crystal. She sets the vixen standard, oozing a brand of appeal that
is similar to that found in a centerfold. All Blonds creations are impeccably detailed and eye catching, and this collection does not stray. Even the nails worn by the bunnies took over 1,000 hours of manual labor
to produce.
Bodysuits and corsets are riddled with laser cut mirrors, sequins and reflective jewels. Jessica Rabbit is reprised when a red, slinky, bodacious dress is paired with long purple gloves. The following bunny’s torso was peppered with gaping lips, and as she raised her bunny ear mask, you could swear you heard a smack. Fox puff in both black and neon colors dot quartz riddled leotards and thigh-high boots, and ostrich feather fluffs some
of the sharpness of the heavy embellishments.
Roger Rabbit would be in heaven.
