Special trained forces took New York City by storm as military - inspired looks allied with femininity at the Battle of Fashion Week.
Edun spared no mercy as they hit you with earthy browns, greens, and blacks worked into sexy lingerie inspired looks, not to mention Marilyn-esque plunging neck lines in white silk. The tops formed enticing sleek lines, revealing a wide-open chest inviting the eyes to explore further.
Loose wide-legged shorts looked ready-made for a safari expedition
as the girls sported them down the runway in flowing material.
The look of a General's girlfriend flounced into the room with a dainty white top, ruffly skirt, and over-sized black jacket - which her chivalrous dream-boat had probably draped upon her shoulders, while using his own belt to draw attention to her slim waistline.
Edun's girls owned the room as they came in like soldiers approaching
the front lines. Their gladiator sandals with metal hardware detailing
gave them a strong, proud walk. A savvy mix of solids and prints
in granites and rusts offered a chic modern camouflage for urban warfare. The ending look was in all black against the girl's exotic chocolate skin tone - inspired tube tops detailed like a bodice paired with black slouchy cargo pants and saggy pockets. If anything, the clothes drew more attention to the women's seductive bodies - as all clothes should, and in this Edun succeeded. It's time we ladies suits up and take on our daily wars,
for Edun has created the perfect wardrobe for the woman's jaunt
into battle.
